The teacher trainees in various colleges of Education are in limbo as to when and how they will be paid their 6 months teacher trainees allowance arrears owed by the Government.
About the payment of the tracker trainees allowance, the Government of Ghana in one of their policies ahead of the 2020 election promised teacher to reassure you of trainees allowance.
Teacher trainees all in the 46 colleges of education have not been paid their allowance for the pa 6 months now and they are in the state of dilemma as they are doubting whether such allowance will be paid or not.
The good news for teacher trainees now is that teacher trainees’ allowance arrears is slated to play in recent days.
In a release by the WATICO SRC, Rita Okom the Public Relations Officer of the SRC states that allowance will be paid before reopening of school in December 2021.

In a release by the National Coordinator of TTAG, Hon. Joshua Yeboah, it’s clear that after meeting the Deputy Minister of Finance, John Ampatuah Kumah, all is set and ready for the payment of the teacher trainees allowance.
A lot have happened behind the scene in our quest to champion the interest of the very people who gave us power to serve them, trainee teachers.
The delay in getting the expected results, accompanied with unconstructive criticisms and castigations are not yardstick for us to be demoralised in the fight.
We are still focused and the fight still stands unabated. Dear trainee, as we have been assuring you to keep the hope alive, let us continue to hold fast that which is good!! Soon, the battle will be over !!!
