Captain Good lastly speaks on his suspension from Angel FM


Captain Godsbrain Blessed Smart(Captain Smart) has lastly spoken on his suspension from Angel FM.

Captain Good in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere on the Good Night Ghana present on Thursday, Might 6, 2021, defined what led to his suspension.

The Morning Present host revealed that Samuel Kofi Acheampong(Bronzy) initially gave him a name telling him concerning the collection of pressures which have come on him and the corporate’s president, Dr Kwaku Oteng.

Captain Good additional disclosed that Bronzy requested him to ASAP name Dr Oteng and clarify issues to him however shouldn’t point out his (Bronzy) identify as one who informed him to name him.

He revealed that Dr Kwaku Oteng mentioned in a telephone convo that he (Oteng) had been informed that he (Captain) had insulted President Akufo-Addo, vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan Kyeremateng and others.

Good mentioned he informed Dr Oteng that the data was false and even confessed his intention to apologise on-air and resign if they supply him with proof that he insulted these excessive rating individuals as being alleged.

“I informed him that I can say all types of issues on this world however to go to that extent to say that the President of the land, the Vice, the IGP and Alan Kyerematen are fools, no! when you can present me with the proof, I’ll apologize to the world and resign out of your firm”.

Regardless of his explanations to the accusations on him, he was requested to take time off-air thus he was suspended. 

The broadcaster informed Paul Adom Otchere that Kwaku Oteng unveiled to him that some high individuals from GRA and a few excessive rating authorities officers are pressurising him to take motion as a result of he(Captain) is simply too loud.

“I referred to as Dr Kwaku Oteng and he mentioned some individuals inside Akufo-Addo’s authorities are calling him and have been writing him letters from Ghana Income Authority (GRA) simply because they are saying I speak an excessive amount of”.

The outspoken radio presenter in his blow-by-blow account mentioned Dr Oteng requested him to take a break from the radio for a while until issues come down as a result of he can’t stand up to the pressures approaching him.

“In the midst of our dialog, he informed me that due to the strain, after I shut from work immediately [Thursday, May 6] he would need me to go off air for a while and when the strain from above comes down, then I can resume”

 “I mentioned okay if that was going that can assist you as a result of I’m only one particular person and you’ve got all these corporations, if Captain Good alone will deliver your organization down, why not, I’ll do this [step aside] for you.” Captain mentioned.

Captain Good had earlier registered that he was not afraid to lose his job and would have gladly left if he had been informed to resign. 

“If he had referred to as to inform me, Captain, I can’t work with you once more. I might have had no drawback as a result of I cannot go hungry. My mind works,” he mentioned. 

It was reported yesterday sixth Might 2020 that Captain Good have been suspended by his employer over his fixed criticism on nationwide affairs which fits a mile to defaming the federal government.

IMANI Ghana’s Franklin Cudjoe first revealed this piece of knowledge on social media following a convo he had with the suspended Radio Presenter earlier within the morning.

Based on Mr Frankling, Captain Good’s boss (Dr Kwaku Oteng, CEO of ABN) requested him to go off-air resulting from extreme strain mounted on him by some excessive rating officers in authorities. 

Confirming this, the General Manager of Angel FM Mr Kwadwo Dickson revealed that Captain Smart has indeed been suspended (date for his resumption unknown) by the CEO and Administration of ABN.
