Ghana’s Education Service (GES) has debunked rumors and described a viral assertion circulating on social media indicating public college lecturers can take part within the forthcoming 2021 inhabitants census as faux.
Based on the false assertion sighted by Educationweb.com.gh, the Director-Normal of GES, Prof Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa in a Friday assembly authorised for lecturers to undertake the nationwide inhabitants census train
The purported assertion additional states that the GES Director-Normal has mentioned lecturers can go to highschool and signal, give assignments and depart the college premises after some hours to take part within the census train.
“All shortlisted lecturers needs to be sensible sufficient to behave accordingly as Ghana wants extremely educated officers to embark on such vital public task,” the discharge claims as acknowledged by the GES official.
